Bay area microfluidics network<\/h3>\n

I am the Co-Founder of Bay Area Microfluidics Network<\/a>. Our mission is to bring together leaders in microfluidic technologies to foster innovation and collaboration within and amongst the region\u2019s academic institutions and industries. Specifically, we seeks to 1) encourage academic-industrial collaborations and partnerships; 2) connect prospective employees such as graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to companies looking for talent; and 3) facilitate cross-pollination of ideas between the foremost authorities in microfluidic technologies.<\/p>\n

As the lead organizer, I initiate and organize events every quarter, expand and grow community, secure sponsorships, engage and collaborate with a wide range of organizations and arrange meetings with advisory board. We have successfully invited influential scientific leaders in microfluidics to our events and usually have approximately 100 attendees. Our community currently have almost 500 active members.<\/p>\n

Stanford ignite program<\/h3>\n

I participated in Stanford Ignite Program from January 2017 to March 2017. This is a certificate program in Innovation, Entrepreneur and Management. I learned the fundamentals of business and the practical aspects of identifying and evaluating venture ideas and moving them forward. I worked in a six-member team to commercialize a machine-learning based 3D ultrasound diagnosis platform for liver diseases.<\/p>\n

Stanford energy club<\/h3>\n

I was involved with Stanford Energy Club(SEC) <\/a>from September 2014 to March 2016. I was the Vice President in charge of Digital and Brand team. I led a 6-person team to promote the engagement of SEC in Stanford and Silicon Valley industrial communities. Our team branded SEC events through digital advertising efforts\/campaigns, created and managed content for diverse social channels including SEC website, Facebook , and Twitter pages, and analyzed, reviewed and reported on community growth and engagement.<\/p>\n

ENGINEERS FOR A SUSTAINABLE WORLD (STANFORD CHAPTER)<\/h3>\n

I’m an active member in The Stanford Chapter of Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW<\/span>-Stanford)<\/a>. I work on SunPower Foundation project.<\/p>\n

We partner with the SunPower Foundation, a nonprofit affiliate of photovoltaic manufacturer SunPower, to design a system to repurpose PV modules that have cosmetic defects. The recovered modules, will be deployed in underprivileged communities near the manufacturing sites to provide two main services: lighting and refrigeration. The manufacturing sites\u00a0will be primary in real areas of developing countries, such as\u00a0Manila, Philippines, Mexico and South Africa.<\/p>\n

Stanford-ZJU alumni group<\/h3>\n

I was the founder and the primary organizer for the Zhejiang University alumni group at Stanford. I organized social mixers, hiking and graduation BBQs to enhance social bonding between ZJU alumni at Stanford University.<\/p>\n
